How does she do it?!

Kate believes that great design should feel both personal and effortless—where comfort, function, and beauty come together naturally. Her approach is all about creating timeless spaces that reflect who you are, blending traditional charm with a fresh twist.

Every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure your space feels inspiring, yet lived-in. Whether working on a new build, a renovation, or custom furnishings, her goal is to make sure everything flows seamlessly and feels just right. Kate works closely with you and a talented team of craftsmen and artisans to bring your vision to life, ensuring that your home is not only beautiful but also practical and enduring. At the heart of her process is collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to quality. Kate believes your space should elevate everyday life, offering beauty and comfort that lasts for years to come.

Having grown up overseas, Kate developed a unique appreciation for culture, art, and architecture. Initially, she thought she would follow in her father and uncle’s footsteps into civil service, but a two-year stint as a newlywed in Poland changed her direction. Upon returning to the U.S., she transitioned into the design industry, founding her own firm in 1998. Her journey eventually led her to a Master’s in Interior Design at Virginia Commonwealth University, where the technical skills she gained strengthened her comprehensive, detail-oriented approach to design.
